Outward Expression
I don't think I started playing with my outward expression at all until I started attending Otakon, and getting into cosplay. I was watching a lot more anime and getting into more games, and I really enjoyed the androgynous feel of the character designs. I also already was a big fan of The Legend of Zelda. No surprise, then, that my first big cosplay was as Link. Specifically, his Ocarina of Time incarnation wearing white tights.
