A transgender kid attempted suicide because of the political anti-trans crusade in Texas, citing the recent Anti-transgender legislation and the governor's executive orders to investigate families providing their children with transition care as reasons for his attempt.
After spending time in a psychiatric facility, the Department of Family and Protective Services showed up at his house. Staff at the facility had discovered during his care that he was on hormone therapy and reported his family for child abuse.
